What Exactly Is Oncotrace

Oncotrace is a liquid biopsy test used to support cancer monitoring — a simple blood draw that studies circulating tumour cells (CTCs), cancer cells that have entered your bloodstream.
In certain cases involving cancers of the central nervous system, a tissue sample may be used instead.

These relate to biological activity associated with cancer stem cells, studied because they may influence how cancer responds to treatment — examples include SOX2, NANOG and OCT4.
